Whole Journeys

For over 30 years I’ve been developing and leading extraordinary experiences for curious travelers. I specialize in active (walking, biking, hiking, trekking) itineraries as well as “active foodie” programs which incorporate local farmers, food artisans, wine makers and family owned rural properties.

Having traveled and led tours around the world in over 80 countries (From Bhutan to Belize,Turkey to Tasmania, and Portugal to Peru), I offer both private itineraries (guided, self guided, or partially guided) for individuals, families and groups of friends, as well as host women’s hiking tours each year which I lead with local guides.

Specialties:
Adventure and Active Travel: I excel in creating innovative and exciting travel itineraries that cater to my clients interests, experiences, budget and time. With a deep understanding of the adventurous spirit and active lifestyle, I design immersive programs that encompass unique activities, breathtaking landscapes, and local cultural encounters. Caminos and long distance hiking itineraries are one of my specialties.

Culinary and Cultural Travel : I’m fascinated by the intersection of food, culture, and travel. Leveraging my expertise in culinary tourism, I curate exceptional experiences that allow travelers to indulge in authentic regional cuisines, explore local culinary traditions, and connect with the vibrant flavors and stories of each destination. I created Whole Journeys for Whole Foods Market and have relationships with producers around the world. Trips to Blue Zone destinations are also a specialty.

I'd be an adventure van with all the comforts for traveling and uniquely decorated to make everyone feel at home

Best Travel Tip
