After 20-plus years of luxury hotel sales and marketing in New York City, Los Angeles, and Maui, I felt ready to take on a new challenge. For years I had been called upon by friends and family for travel advice and recommendations. Where should I stay? What should I see? Answering these seemingly simple questions became the foundation for a new professional opportunity. Having cultivated lasting partnerships and relationships around the world, my entrepreneurial spirit was fueled by my global community and in 2012 the journey led me to create Your Travel Designer.

I founded Your Travel Designer with the belief that the details make the design. I am dedicated to better understanding the nuances and finer points that make traveling unique to each of us. Through this detailed lens, Your Travel Designer provides full-service concierge travel and crafts itineraries with only our clients’ interests in mind.

My passions have evolved as the company has evolved. I am blessed to have immersed myself in special places, meeting incredible people from all walks of life and being fortunate to have them invite me into their culture. It is these human connections that have made traveling so enriching. As we travel based on journey not destination, it becomes more apparent that no matter country, culture, religion or race, we are more alike than we are different. For me, it is the combination of all the small beauties — conversations over a shared meal, a cup coffee or a glass of wine — that create truly lasting memories.

My favorite destinations are the savannas and plains of Africa, the quaint villages of Italy and France, places where the water calls my name, anywhere I’m on horseback, under a starry sky and all the places I dream about but have yet to reach.
